Privacy Policy

At AKSCO we respect your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit aksco.com.tr or contact us, and how it is used.

Information We Collect

Browsing our site does not require you to give us your name or contact details. Our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) briefly processes technical records such as IP addresses for attack prevention and aggregate visitor statistics; these are not stored per person, not used commercially and not sold. When you fill in the quote form or e-mail us, your name, company details, contact information and request content reach us. Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection through our form provider (FormSubmit, United States) to our corporate mailbox (Zoho Mail, EU region) and are not permanently stored at the provider. If you are in the EU or UK we handle your requests under the GDPR/UK GDPR on the same terms set out here. When we ask our own suppliers and distributors for prices we do not give them your company name, delivery address or project information — only the technical description and quantity. We will sign a non-disclosure agreement before quoting on request.

In addition, when you submit the form we attach where the request came from. Your browser keeps a single record named aksco_iz1 holding: the date of your first visit (the day only — no hour, minute or second), the path on this site of that visit’s first page (e.g. /en/insights/) and a broad channel label for how you reached the site (search · social · e-mail · AI assistant · direct · internal · other; if the link carries a campaign tag, the label is utm:<tag> instead); the same three for this visit; which visit number this is; how many quote requests you have sent us and when the last one was sent; the time you last opened a page, so we can tell when a visit has ended; and the paths on this site of the last six pages you viewed in this visit. We use this to see which of our content is actually useful — so that when a company reads an article and asks for a quote two weeks later, the article that did the work is visible. Only paths on this site are used: if you arrived from another website, that address and any search terms are not passed on, and the address of a page that was not found (404) is never recorded. Of the query string in the address bar, only a campaign tag (utm_source) is kept if the link carries one, truncated to 24 characters — it names the campaign, not the person or company; the rest of the query string is not recorded. No identifier, random visitor ID or anything that could recognise you on another site is created, and the record is never passed to a third party for advertising, analytics or profiling. When you send the form it reaches our e-mail infrastructure together with the rest of the form, through the form service described under “International transfers” below. The record is held in your browser’s persistent storage (localStorage) and never reaches us unless you send the form. A record older than 30 days is reset on your next visit; browser storage has no expiry of its own, so if you never come back the record stays in your browser. If you would rather it did not exist, you can switch it off and delete it in one click — while it is off, nothing is recorded, persistent or temporary, and only your choice is stored, under the name aksco_iz_kapali. Nothing is recorded either if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.

How We Use It

This information is used solely to respond to your request, prepare quotes and conduct the business relationship. Your information is never sold or rented to third parties for marketing.

Data Security

Our site is served over an encrypted (TLS) connection. Information you submit through the form travels over an encrypted connection through our form provider (FormSubmit, United States) to our corporate mailbox (Zoho Mail, EU region); it is not permanently stored at the provider, and access on our side is limited to the people who need it to run the request. Site hosting and security are provided by Cloudflare. These providers operate under their own retention and security policies. Data Subject Rights

Under Turkish data protection law (KVKK) you may request information about, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to info@aksco.com.tr. The statutory notice is published in Turkish as the KVKK Disclosure Text, which also lists retention periods and every party your data may be transferred to.

What we collect and how long we keep it

Concrete periods: requests that do not lead to an order are kept for 2 years; contact and request data for customers we trade with, for 10 years after the relationship ends (general limitation period, Turkish Code of Obligations art. 146); invoices, waybills and order records for 5 years under the Tax Procedure Law art. 253 and 10 years under the Turkish Commercial Code art. 82. When we obtain prices from our own dealers, your company name, delivery address and project information are not disclosed — only the technical description and quantity.
